ELITS is now looking for an Enterprise Architect for our operations in Montreal. 

About this position:

The candidate should understand and articulate how aspects of the enterprise architecture contribute to the achievement of business strategy and delivery of the expected business outcomes. Explain and evangelize architecture value and deliverables to a wide audience spectrum (from IT support to Business executives) through simple business briefings. Translate strategic business requirements in order to develop enterprise architectures. Analyze emerging industry standards and trends to determine impact on enterprise architecture. Identify where change is required (development of a Gap plan) in the enterprise architecture in order to support business capabilities. Analyze regulatory guidelines to determine impact on enterprise architecture. Contribute to the operationalization of policies throughout the architecture. Ensure alignment of the enterprise architectures with other enterprise architecture aspects. Develop, deliver, maintain, communicate & govern Enterprise standards, guidelines, frameworks and models that make up the architecture. Participate in cross-domain activities and changes. Ensure alignment of domain architecture activities with the overall enterprise strategies


 • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, Business or related field.

• 3 to 5 year experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect (Or similar tool) to model and manage architectural artifacts in a central EA repository.

• Follow governance and guiding principles and meta model from Service Oriented Enterprise Architecture (SOEA) practice.

• Act as a model guardian to assure that the overall integrity and traceability are respected.

• Perform quality control to assure completeness and compliance with modelling standards .

• Perform conformity checks between enterprise architectures and solution architectures.

• Create training material and provide training and coaching services to other architects when needed.

• Participate in cross-domain activities and changes. Facilitate consistent information acquisition, access, security, change management, archiving and recovery strategies at the enterprise level.

• Develop dashboards reports and viewpoints to facilitate the consumption of architectural artefacts. Participate in Developing, delivering, maintaining, communicating & governing enterprise standards, guidelines, frameworks and models that make up the architecture.
