ELITS recruitment process

Our employees are the entire foundation of our business. Our ability to attract, develop and retain the right talent is crucial for our future development. Because of this, the recruitment process is essential for ELITS, and the first step into the ELITS world.

You become a part of ELITS recruitment process as soon as you have shown interest in any of our positions. Below, you can read more about the different steps during ELITS recruitment process. 

Throughout the process we will do everything we can to keep you informed. And never hesitate to ask us if you have any question, whatsoever, about the process.


1. The first selection

Based on your resume and personal letter that we receive with your application we will compare your personal skills and experience with the competence profile for the position in question.
If your resume matches the requirements of the position we will contact you to set up a first interview.   


2. First dialogue

Those who are chosen in the first selection are contacted for the purpose of the first dialogue. This dialogue is normally conducted over the phone/video conference and this is the first step to get to know each other. Hopefully you are curious to know more about ELITS and we want to know more about your experience and your driving forces. We want to know more about your technical skills and work experience. Our goals for this first dialogue are to complement the information from your resume, to get more information about what competence you have in the relevant field and your future career goals. 

This is a personal kind of interview, so if the location and time allows we might be able to conduct this interview face-to-face. 


3. Second interview

If you proceed and want to proceed in the process, we will meet for a personal interview.  During the personal interview we want to get to know each other even more. Hopefully your curiosity and questions about ELITS have increased; and we will do everything we can to meet and hopefully exceed them. We are at the same time curious to know more about who you are and how you and your values can strengthen ELITS.

This interview is normally conducted face-to-face by the Line Manager.

4. Reference checking & Background check

During this step we will be contacting the references that you have provided. We will also conduct a complete background check. This is done due to customer requirements. Curious to know more about the background check; welcome to read our FAQ - bakgrundskontroll :)

5. Test

Depending on the position you have applied for you might be requested to take a technical test so that we can get a more complete picture of your competence.

You might also be asked to take a personality test depending on the position and customer. And we always give you personal feedback.

6. Presentation to the customer

This step applies to you who are in the process to be hired as a consultant. When you have passed all the other steps you will be presented to our customer. We will send your presentation to the customer who will decide if they want to invite you to a Candidate – Customer meeting. After the meeting there will be a followup talk to decide if this is the right match for you.  

7. Employment discussion

If everybody involved (you, ELITS and the customer) would like to continue we will start the employment process. If not we will do our best to find a better match. 

The employment process is normally conducted face-to-face by the Line Manager and yourself. ELITS HR also participate in this stage.
