ELITS is now looking for a Senior Construction Manager – Telecommunications Deployment  in Mississauga.

Are you an experienced construction leader with expertise in telecommunications equipment deployment? We are looking for a Senior Construction Manager to oversee all technical aspects of network equipment installation at assigned sites and venues, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

You will:

• Assess and confirm the suitability of sites and venues for telecommunications equipment deployment.

• Recommend or select suppliers and partners.

• Identify and validate scope items in collaboration with radio frequency (RF) engineers and suppliers.

• Determine and manage the distribution of required equipment and materials for site deployment.

• Oversee site access and permissions.

• Plan and schedule installation and construction activities, including setting project timelines, forecasting, and sequencing work.

• Monitor work progress and milestones against the project schedule, revising and updating as needed.

• Act as the primary company representative for venue reviews, supplier deliverables, customer visits, inspections by government or customers, and safety-related matters.

• Conduct audits during construction and through to project completion.

• Verify that builds are completed according to company and customer standards, evaluate punch list items, and determine final acceptance.

• Manage the project budget and control costs.

• Coordinate with and support Customer Project Managers to meet overall project objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven leadership experience in managing telecommunications construction projects from site planning through to completion.

• Strong knowledge of wireless network infrastructure, installation methods, and industry standards.

• Experience managing third-party suppliers and construction partners.

• Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, forecasting, and milestone tracking.

• Strong understanding of RF requirements as they apply to site development.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience managing budgets and ensuring cost efficiency.
